Like any good father, Yhwh warns us in the Bible about the consequences of bad behavior (Ex.34:6,7).
He holds out the promise of reward, for obedience (Isa.48:18; Psalm 37:40).
In His Word the Bible, God holds out various rewards to various groups.

It is important that we are clearly taught these consequences and promised rewards, who they are for and for what deeds they are deserved.
How would a father feel, if a stranger taught his son that bad would be rewarded, and good would be punished?
Our heavenly Father wants people to know the truth about his expectations, his promised rewards for righteousness, and the consequences for breaking His righteous expectations.

If you are one of "Jehovah's Witnesses", you likely have been taught about the various rewards for differing groups.
I hope to compare those teachings, to scripture.

It has been said that all those of the "world", are to be utterly destroyed previous to the Kingdom's arrival.

But the scriptures say that "God will judge those on the outside", and
"there is going to be a resurrection of the righteous and the unrighteous." Therefore, it is really not up to us to determine that all who are not formal worshipers according to the standards of men, are going to be destroyed (Romans 13:8,9,10).
True, when we compare the requirements of God to average behavior, their chances for life may seem quite slim; but it is still not up to us to pronounce an other's standing with God (Rom.2:14,15; 1Cor.5:12,13; Jude 1:9).
Yet what did Jesus say?
Mark 12:28 Now one of the scribes that had come up and heard them disputing, knowing that he had answered them in a fine way, asked him: “Which commandment is first of all?” 29 Jesus answered: “The first is, ‘Hear, O Israel, Yhwh our God is one Yhwh, 30 and you must love Yhwh your God with your whole heart and with your whole soul and with your whole mind and with your whole strength.’ 31 The second is this, ‘You must love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” 

Is it possible for any man to display and practice these greatest commands, even if they are not associated with a particular religious organization? Yes. ..is that not so? (Rom.2:14,15)
In fact, Jesus spoke of those who were formal worshipers, who had accomplished many "works". 
Yet, see how despite that, they forgot these two greatest commands of all...

Matt.7:21 “Not everyone saying to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the kingdom of the heavens, but the one doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens will. 22Many will say to me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and expel demons in your name, and perform many powerful works in your name?’ 23And yet then I will confess to them: I never knew YOU! Get away from me, YOU workers of lawlessness."


Even with all the work these ones did (which seemed good in their own eyes), Jesus said they were "workers of lawlessness". What law did they break? They broke the very law Jesus told us at Mark 12:30,31...the "kingly" law of LOVE (James 2:8; Rev.2:3,4,5). So, even if we are a formal worshiper in a formal organized religion and have done many "powerful works"...it will all be for nothing, if we do not prove our love for God (Mark 12:30,31)

What of the formal worshipers?
"Jehovah's Witnesses" who do not consider themselves anointed chosen ones, have been told that they are what the scriptures refer to as the "great crowd" (Rev.7:9).
They look forward to surviving the "end of this system", believing that they possess a clean standing before God, and are considered among the "righteous" who are written in the "Lambs scroll of Life" (carrot).
These have been taught that their standing is secure, as long as they are in harmony with "the faithful and discreet slave" and the "mountain-like organization" that is "spirit-directed".
   Inducted into this spiritual state of "peace and security", they are taught that they already enjoy a "spiritual paradise" in a society which is the initial manifestation of God's Kingdom.
These fully expect to have an elevated position in the earth of resurrected ones...to be teachers of the "new scrolls" (Rev.20:12).
How does God really view those whose faith is founded on the tenets of the organization, and from such faith, it's followers, preach? Their message is one of trust in the glorious salvation of that very organization. What is the real "reward" that God has in store, for those who preach such a message?
(Isa.42:8; Rom.1:25; Isa.43:11) (Rev.13:7-8,4,7,10; Col.2:8; 1Tim.4:1)

Those who are of the non-anointed "elders", even expect that their present status as "prince" will continue (Isa.32:1,2; Ps.45:16), and take on even greater prominence and responsibility as they become "chieftains" in the "new earth" (2Pet.3:13) (carrot).

What really will they do, 
                     when they must accept their actual place in prophecy?

What of anointed "Jehovah's Witnesses"
What is their assured hope according to present doctrine?
Once again, heavy emphasis is placed on being in harmony with those taking the lead of God's household (which role Jesus referred to as "steward"), and teaching their students whatever these tell you to teach.

Strangely, all anointed ones were told in the past, that they themselves are the "steward". However, they are also told that they have nothing to do with any of the decisions of what to feed the sheep. They are told that their relationship with Yhwh and Christ their head, is mediated through this "representative" body of prominent governing ones, and that this body is above them in power, stature, and spirit.
   Yet, that "body" of governing ones decline acceptance of the title, "Steward" (Luke 12:42-46). It was claimed by these powerful leaders at the time of this writing, that all anointed are equally the steward.

Since then (2023), it is taught that the governing leaders are the steward, but that the parable of Jesus about that steward is not to be regarded as a possibility, nor does it have any practical significance (Luke 12:45-46). The reason? 
It is claimed that Jesus is confident that the steward will not prove unfaithful.

The scriptures make clear, that the "steward" is the one responsible to provide "the proper food at the proper time" (Luke 12:42-44). Yet during the time that it was taught that all anointed are the steward, the reality is (according to the Watchtower), that No anointed are involved in providing spiritual provisions, except the Governing Body. Therefore in reality, these impotent ones can not share in the label of "Steward". This is the reality and truth of Jesus' illustration, regardless of what men may say.

[Note: The fact that Jesus indicates that there is a "steward" within his household of anointed, shows that some anointed do indeed manage the spiritual food coming in from the other anointed slaves, that all inside and outside the "house" may benefit.]
Matt.24:45; 1Cor.12:28 (When speaking of the differing capacities of the anointed slaves and parts of Christ's "body"; "abilities to direct/"administration" is among them. It is equated with "translators" at the end of verse 30. This is in harmony with the role of steward/director of the spiritual food. The steward manages all the incoming provisions, to make the most of all the collective understanding that Jesus is giving his slaves 1Cor.12:4-8,9-12).
--Yet that is not at all how doctrine is churned out of the Watchtower.
As of 2023, it is taught that anointed "have no more holy spirit than anyone else", despite 1John2:20,27. Anointed are expected to deny the spirit they received from Almighty God through Christ (Rom.5:5; 2Cor.1:22; Gal.4:6; Rom.2:29; Col.2:11).

We know the Bible projects the fact that Jesus gives all anointed slaves "talents" of understanding through Holy Spirit (Matt.25:15,19,7; 1John 2:20,27; Matt.10:27,20). 
Yet the scriptures also tell us how the steward should fulfill his job. He is portrayed as a servant of all his brothers (Matt.23:11; Luke 22:26). 
The idea of a "governing" body as being a suitable replacement of this steward slave, is in direct conflict with Jesus' own portrait of the faithful steward (Mark 10:42,43).

To fail in Christ's description of the humble capacity of the faithful Steward, is to be wicked (Matt.24:48-51). Jesus describes a corrupt, arrogant steward, as becoming drunk with with abusive power (Isa.29:9-10; 28:7; Jer.5:31), as expecting (and teaching) that his Master would arrive sooner than he did (2Thess.2:1-3), and as beating his fellow anointed brothers instead of ministering to them...(not assisting them to be found faithful with what the Master has given them).

If the other anointed are prevented by the wicked steward from fulfilling their own assignments, they themselves will be found unfaithful with what was given them, if they obey the harsh steward rather than the Master, Christ (Matt.25:18,24-26,28,30).
When such anointed ones are faced with a wicked steward who refuses to accept what Christ has given them, they must still find a way to use their "talents", so that when the Master arrives, they themselves can receive his "Well Done" (despite the hindering oppression of the drunken Steward) (Gal.1:10; 1Cor.7:23; Col.3:24). Otherwise, such a slave would be guilty of being "wicked and sluggish" (Matt.25:25-26,30). Although one position in God's household is "Steward" (1Cor.4:1), all anointed slaves are expected to be faithful and discreet, with what the Master has given them (Matt.25:19,29; Luke 8:16,18; Jude 1:4), wicked steward or not.

Here Jesus points to the fact that such a steward might still save himself, IF he helps the other slaves dispense their debt to their Master. This can be done if the Steward fulfills his role by accepting the provisions from the other slaves, and making good use of this food, at the proper time, before it is too late.]

What is the reality within God's household of anointed, today?
If an anointed one has a scriptural contribution to make...perhaps improving an existing doctrine of this Steward (who has refused to accept the title and the scrutiny it carries), the consequences will be severe. The insignificant anointed one is "beaten" by the wicked steward (LINK), shunned, cut off, disfellowshiped, exiled, labeled as apostate, and spiritually condemned (John16:2; Mark 13:13; Matt.5:11-12; 23:37,34-35; Rev.18:24).

On the other hand, if this functioning Steward (who refuses the title) disagrees with a lesser anointed one, there are no such consequences to him. In reality, this Steward can "beat" (and have him disfellowshipped from his family and congregation) his fellow anointed brothers. This is because, in reality, the governing body are the steward appointed over the other slaves (Luke 12:42) whether they wish to be so identified, or not. The power and authority of the position they have assumed, proves it.

The spiritual menu that the insignificant anointed partake of, is determined completely by this acting Steward "governing body" (who wishes to avoid the label, or scrutiny of his capacity). The spiritual menu the Steward partakes of, is determined by his own discretion, advantage, and interests, with no contributions by the other anointed slaves.

It is an unavoidable fact, that the Steward today, IS the Governing Body. They are not the "representatives" of a collective anointed steward, as they have claimed. In no capacity, do they represent their anointed brothers, as has been their claim.

As the only identity who currently determine doctrine (what food and when), they are the only real candidates for the fulfillment of the "wicked steward", who exalts himself over his brothers, rather than serving them (Matt.23:11). 
A faithful steward who remains in subjection to the Master Christ, will assist his fellow brothers to use their "talents" which the Master gave them... instead of "beating" them when they try to prove themselves faithful with what they have been given.

The present arrangement of hierarchy in the Watchtower has been established by the Steward, and firmly enforced by the entire infrastructure of the organization. If it is complied with by the other, insignificant anointed ones; these lesser ones are taught (by the Steward) the falsehood, that their reward with God, is secure.
According to this doctrine (carrot), these lesser anointed ones too, can now rest in the premise that their standing with God is clean and firm...as long as they have the approval of the untitled Steward and his henchmen, the so called "elders".
And what of the future reward for these compliant anointed ones?
It is taught that they will be resurrected into spirit bodies, forever sitting around on thrones in heaven.
They are depicted as legless clones of Jesus, all looking the same (see the new 2012 J.W. calendar), just sitting around... forever... supposedly looking at earth from a far distance.

On that new calendar, Jesus' throne is depicted as chartreuse (pale yellow-green) and in among the 144,000. Apparently the publishers miss the fact and meaning, that the Bible tells us that Jesus' throne is sapphire-like, Eze.1:26; 10:1 (crystal blue) to symbolize his reign of Truth, founded on Jesus' obedience to God's Laws (Num.15:38,39,40). That throne is placed above the 144,000, in order to feed them the water of life (coming from his throne) Rev.22:1,2...before they themselves, come down to earth, to bring that living water with them. Though these lesser anointed ones believe that they will rule the earth in the distant future
...it seems that this kingdom rule will be accomplished invisibly, somehow channeled through those prince/elders we mentioned earlier. Although these "cookie-cutter" anointed clones in heaven inherit the earth, they are apparently, banned from ever stepping on it again. (Perhaps this is why they are shown with no legs?)
No matter...it is taught that they have come to the apathetic and unappreciative opinion that the physical creation no longer holds any attraction or value to them personally.

What is taught about the spiritual standing and reward for the actual Steward we spoke about earlier?
Well these teach that a "wheat-like" anointed one, can never possibly turn into a weed-like apostate.
They teach that any of those ruling in this Organization have already been found "faithful and discreet" by God, so it would seem that they have a free-pass into the heavens (carrot), just for their governing of the organization.

This contradicts the reality, that in 1980, a member who was on the Governing Body for 9 years (Raymond Franz); was disfellowshipped as an "apostate" by the others, while he was an active Governing Bdy member. The reason? He disagreed with false doctrine, based upon the truth he found in the Bible.

This disfellowshipping event performed by the Governing Bdy's own actions, proves that we can not surmise that Governing Bdy members are the "faithful and discreet slave", simply because of the position they hold.
Yet in this case, it was the disfellowshipped one that was trying to prove faithful to Truth. The other members "beat" him for it (Rom.8:33; 14:4) (LINK).

What is the current teaching regarding the reward for this "Steward" who determines what all are fed?
They believe and teach that they need only continue to enjoy their prominent tyrannical standing above all their brothers, manage the billions of dollars of contributions, expand the massive holdings and construction projects, and keep the entire flock in total obedience and submission to them through the army of elders that are in iron subjection. 
The magazines which are supposed to be used to feed the sheep, are now largely being used to influence the sheep to build unquestioning allegiance and obedience to these rulers.  The current book-study publication is filled with twisted interpretations of scripture...all designed to reinforce the false doctrine, that first century Christians were directed by a Governing Bdy, and not by Holy Spirit directly. It doesn't take much intelligence to understand why they are promoting that idea.

  This unlabeled Steward reminds the "flock" of how much they understand the difficulties of life, and how much they love the flock. They remind the flock that material, medical, and educational deprivation is a part of the sacrifices of devotion, with which God is well pleased. 
They themselves live in a community where every possible need and want is richly provided (including personal servants); and all they have to do for all this, is ride their litter of stature. (Matt.23:4)

Mark 10:44-45; Luke 14:11; Rev.3:17-18; 1Cor.1:28-29

This is not the pattern of life for a Chosen one proving faithful. (Rom.8:17; John 15:20,21)
The apostle Paul made a comparison between similar unfaithful anointed in the First Century, and those who were actually following the path of Christ. Take note...
1Cor.4:8 YOU men already have YOUR fill, do YOU? YOU are rich already, are YOU? YOU have begun ruling as kings without us, have YOU? And I wish indeed that YOU had begun ruling as kings, that we also might rule with YOU as kings. 9 For it seems to me that God has put us the apostles last on exhibition as men appointed to death, because we have become a theatrical spectacle to the world, and to angels, and to men. 10 We are fools because of Christ, but YOU are discreet in Christ; we are weak, but YOU are strong; YOU are in good repute, but we are in dishonor. 11Down to this very hour we continue to hunger and also to thirst and to be scantily clothed and to be knocked about and to be homeless 12 and to toil, working with our own hands. When being reviled, we bless; when being persecuted, we bear up; 13when being defamed, we entreat; we have become as the refuse of the world, the offscouring of all things, until now. 14 I am writing these things, not to shame YOU, but to admonish YOU as my beloved children."

Jesus left a model for the Chosen ones to follow (1Pet.4:1-2,12-14,19; 2:21-23)
Never is a Chosen one advised to revile, insult, or threaten, even their enemies.
Certainly then, they should never treat another Chosen One that way, simply because that one is trying to heed the scriptures.
Certainly then, taking vindictive action to expel them from the Congregation, from their friends and their family, would not be the "righteous" necessity that they mask it as. In reality, it identifies them as "workers of lawlessness". Jesus' true disciples, are identified by obedience to Christ's Law of Love (John 13:35).

All  their recent strategies have the same purpose...to build their unrighteous domination based upon lies, and remove any threat to it (Hab.2:12; Isa.1:21; 57:1)

We have now examined the man-made doctrines concerning four spiritual classes...
who they are, and what their rewards will be.
The anointed in subjection to the steward and his elder army, and non-anointed who are also in subjection.


Sounds like these four groups, are classes of spiritual privilege indeed!
And they are all taught, that all they have to do to ensure their divine reward...is obey the powerful steward and elders above them, without question.

If you are a member of one of these groups, and you hold dear one of these hopes (carrots),
you may appreciate knowing the truth of the Bible, and the hope it really teaches.
If you get a firm hold on the real hope before you, it will not lead to disappointment!


Since we have already seen that those of the world (who have not pursued a knowledge of God) will be judged by God himself, let us now consider the basis for judgement for the rest.

What is the Scriptural basis for judgement (as well as the promised reward) for those who have committed themselves to learning the Bible from the Watchtower? 
These ones see themselves as having pledged their obedience to God, seeking to live their lives in harmony with the scriptures. The individuals in this group do not see themselves as having been hand-picked (Chosen) by God to rule with his Son. These ones have sought out knowledge from "Jehovah's Witnesses", believing them to be the people God refers to at Isa. 43:10....those who are vessels of truth in the world.
Through a Bible study with other non-anointed JW's, they feel they have learned from anointed chosen leaders, believing that these have God "with" them.
JWs regard these Chosen anointed leaders as being spiritual "Jews" (Rom.2:29). Non-anointed JWs feel that they are those from the Nations, who "grab hold of the skirt" of these spiritual Jews, whom they believe to be proving "faithful and discreet" (Zech.8:23; Matt.24:45).
Considering their governing leaders to be "fine trees" in this time of the end (Matt.7:20), this group of non-anointed look to these "trees" for their "fruit", and they consider the spiritual teachings of this steward to be the promised provisions of the "proper food at the proper time".

This so-called life saving message, is supposedly carried out, by all "Jehovah's Witnesses".
(Yet right at Isa.43:10, Yhwh says that these "witnesses", are His "Chosen" ones; not those who follow the "Chosen". 
Therefore, the genuine "chosen" witnesses, are only anointed ones. 1Pet.2:9; Col.3:12; John 15:16)
Isa.43:10: “YOU are my witnesses,” is the utterance of Yhwh, “even my servant whom I have chosen, in order that YOU may know and have faith in me, and that YOU may understand that I am the same One. Before me there was no God formed, and after me there continued to be none."

In fact, God has not hand-picked all those who call themselves, "Jehovah's Witnesses".

The scriptures themselves introduce and clarify this non-anointed group, the requirements of life for these, and their promised reward. What the Bible says regarding these things, is not what is presently being taught. The purpose of this section is to examine these false doctrines, and point to the truth.

First, it is important to establish the fact that the world indeed does depend on the anointed chosen for accurate spiritual food (Matt.5:14; 1Pet.2:9; Mal.2:7; Matt.24:45; 2Cor.5:20; John13:20). Just as the Ethiopian Eunuch depended upon Philip for accurate understanding (and Philip depended upon Holy Spirit), so too today, Yhwh uses his light-bearing vessels to bring spiritual light into the world 
(Acts 8:26,31,35; Matt.24:14; John 13:20; Matt.10:41). 
Jesus compared these trees of life (who harbor Holy Spirit), to true prophets.....illuminating lamps, lampstands, and stars within Yhvh's spiritual temple 
(Phil.2:15; Dan.12:3; Rev.1:20; Matt.5:15; Rev.11:3,4; Zech.4:11-12,13-14)(John5:35; Luke 7:24,26).

In order for sons of light to prove themselves faithful fine trees (Matt.7:20), they must only be fed by their "head" and only "Leader" who anointed them, Christ; and the promised gift of Holy Spirit (1John 2:27; John15:5; Rom.8:9).
If they are corrupted away from this pure source of knowledge (2Cor.11:3; Col.2:19; John15:6), succumbing to domination by spiritual "Gentiles" (Matt.5:13; Rev.11:2) they will no longer be life-preserving "salt", "fine trees" with "fine fruit" to offer others (Matt.7:17; 12:33-34,37). Instead, these will degrade into "false prophets/wicked slaves" (Matt.7:15-16) who become drunk and unloving (Matt.24:24-25,48-49). There is no blessing of life to be found, if one chooses to follow the false prophets and wicked stewards (Eze.14:10; Luke 6:39; Jer.5:31).

Jesus warned us that the last days would contain these false ones...that these would amass great power and influence...and as a result, many would be mislead 
(Matt.24:24-25; 7:22-23; 2Thess.2:3,4,11-12; 1Tim.4:1).

Consequentially, any who hope to be "saved" as members of this non-anointed religious mountain; are chasing after God's approval and eternal life, like a carrot on a stick.
They must use their perceptive powers to distinguish the true prophets, from the false. (Heb.5:14; Matt.7:20)

Regarding the carrots... the false hope of reward in which each deluded group has vested their hope;
There is a message to the steward from the Lord...
James 5 reads;
"1 Come now, you rich, weep and howl for your miseries that are coming upon you! 2 Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are moth-eaten. 3 Your gold and silver are corroded, and their corrosion will be a witness against you and will eat your flesh like fire. You have heaped up treasure in the last days. 4 Indeed the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you kept back by fraud, cry out; and the cries of the reapers have reached the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth. 5 You have lived on the earth in pleasure and luxury; you have fattened your hearts as in a day of slaughter. 6 You have condemned, you have murdered the just; even though he did not resist you."
